Yellow Mellow is a forestry psytrance live project under construction by a human being named João Porto.  This project was born with the intention of thanking and contributing to the psychedelic culture for all the healings and teachings that have been provided to this young artist since his first encounter with this sound art. From an early age, I was curious and a lover of music. I always ran after different musical sub-genres, from funk to bossa nova, rock to ska, and many others. Multi-instrumentalist, choosing guitar as his base instrument, all started at a classical music conservatory. He wasn’t always a psytrance lover, only starting at the age of 21 when his friends invited him to party in the middle of the woods. Fascinated by this first impact on the psytrance scene, he created a desire to give back to listeners all around the world what other artists had given him: his own frequencies as a form of auditory medicine.Yellow Mellow’s sound is still being refined; however, it can be characterised by funky grooves with a combination of random leads and deep atmospheres. A middle ground between light and shadow and between science and superstition.
