GhordjaSanz is the electronic music project of Rómulo San-Bento. His contact with and interest in music started at a very young age as a guitarist in different bands that went from rock/funk/fusion to alternative synth pop, having already played on several festivals and recorded two studio albums with the side projects Broad Beans and We Sea. At just 15 years of age, he had his first contact with Psytrance when he attended the first edition of theGreen Trippin Camp; festival held at Sete Cidades Lagoon in São Miguel, Azores. This one left him completely fascinated with that genre of music and all the surrounding culture. It was from there that he had the dream of one day learning to mix and produce electronic music. However, as it seemed too distant from a dream for him to achieve, he didn’t go for it until October 2020, when he started taking his first steps in production After being encouraged by some friends and having attended an electronic music workshop organized by Pink Sheep in partnership with Kunayala Productions (given by renowned producers of the Psy scene) with the participation of several enthusiastic students of the same style,. Currently, Rómulo seeks to solidify his production skills with the GhordjaSanz project, expressing himself through peculiar timbres and dancing bass lines in his songs, and hopes to soon have his live ready to present himself at a festival, feeling the vibration of the audience on the dance floor!
